Free Fall

The momentous force against the body;
almost fainting, trying to gasp for air
an unnerving and daring adventure
an escape from life that seemed so unfair
blasting through the
clouds of doubt
shattering the stigma, letting go of hope
no one to hold onto
with each flickering breath
the fears dissolved
the light shone through
and nothing else mattered
but to fall and rise with the wind
so let it take you where it goes
don’t hold, don’t get stuck
sail with the flow
let your direction be
wherever the wind blows.
